whats the purpose of adding performance parts to your car (seriously)?

a. street racing
b. to impress the guys (face it, chicks dont care about integras - at least the ones worthwhile) at local car meets/etc
c. on-ramps/canyons/freeway
d. sanctioned drag racing
e. autocross
f. road racing
g. mileage
h. internet
i. d, e, and f
j. a, b, h

if you picked j, then the k-swap is perfect for you

if you picked i, then you're assed out because you're going to be placed in a class with cars that are 100x faster/experienced than you are if you go with the k-swap. if u keep the gsr, you're in good shape.

if you picked d, you should have went with a muscle car (5-6k on a swap/crate motor in a good shell can get you a 9 sec car)

if you picked a, stop doing that, and go to a real sanctioned event. its just not worth it.

my suggestion is to keep the gsr, and keep the money for tires/brakes/helmet/safety for autocross and roadcourse events.
