Even with the most basic AT&T phone plan, with the current iPhone, the monthly bill is close to $70 after taxes.
Yeah, I read an article last week showing that AT&T is subsidizing the cost of the phone, but is making it all back over the course of the 2 year period. I believe AT&T gets an extra $40-$50 over the course of that initial purchase and contract period.
