All season tires? I don't need no steenking all season tires!

I've tossed around some cars with SP5000s on them and the level of grip was commendable within the realm of all season tires. For the wife's car that's not going to see aggressive driving the SP5000s will give you a larger safety margin in the dry and wet because of the extra traction when compared to the stock Michelins, and are fine in the snow.

I don't know how the plowing in Milwaukee is but it's got to be better than Madison. I go to UW and I swear I've never seen a street downtown get plowed--I guess the city figures us students aren't worth plowing the streets for since we're poor and don't generate a lot of tax revenue. When it snows I just stay off the road and take advantage of my free student bus pass.
