I'm part of a union right now and all I can say it they haven't done shiet for me. Actually the only thing they've done so far is lose our pension money. Apparently they invested in in the wrong stocks and lost 30% of our pension. They just revised our contract recently and now we are paying $3 more a month for union dues.

What I don't understand is why the hell would I want to pay more money to a union that lost my money in the first place? This is whack. Also I make less than a journeyman and yet I still have to pay the same dues. I don't see how that is fair.
