Poorman's Type R plus boost?
Basically I am looking for something to work on while still driving my car. I was thinking of buying an older b16 head (flows better right?) and building it up. Here is what I was thinking.
Port and Polish
New Valvetrain
Type R cams
I was thinking of doing this b/c I want to go JRSC in the future and I see used kits for b16/ type R heads much more often. Anything I should do special for future FI plans?
Oh yeah currently running a stock GSR. If going FI, would it be worth my time to go ahead and tear down the block to throw in some new pistons too?
