If nothing else, the few remaining vestiges of the Queen's English still lingering within the borders of your native land should be sufficient to prevent such rudimentary errors.

Given a lack of evidence to the contrary, one must assume that this lack of knowledge is the end result of apathy or indolence. As such, why would one expect special treatment solely on the grounds of being a foreigner?
