Everyday episode here. Once I actually was driving, and I went from one stoplight to another, perfect weather, but I could see the rain, then drove one more block in the pouring rain, then the next block was perfect again, dry concrete and all. It's funny.
It's actualy because of the air currents. during the hot day, the land is hot and sends air up, and the water is cool, bringing it down. it makes a loop like that.

But sometime in the afternoon, the ground cools, making the water slightly warmer, and this inverts the "loop" bringing very humid air from the water directly inland.

So, yes, it rains every day at about 4
