My car makes the same noise, I've been tryin to figure it out also. When I changed my axels there were the 2 joints u have to knock loose with a pickle fork. I'm convinced its the top one which there's no fitting to grease it and they say my ball joints are fine. I have a bad rack, but I think its right where it connects to the wheel. I dont think it has to do with my rack but its the metal piece with the small rubber boot around top. I'm just trying to explain the best I can I don't know correct terms for everything sorry.
Hmmm, yeah I'm not 100% what you are reffering to, but behind the wheel is all i can gather of where the noise is centralizing. Sucks, i have no mechanic friends so it's one of those things you gotta figure out.
Someone on here mentioned the shocks, after just listening more..I kinda doubt it because when I hit harder bumps the car reacts normally...it's when you are at slower speed you can hear the up and down squeeks at smaller bumps or rougher roads. Then the whole thing that it's the most noticeable when you are turning the wheel.
I tried looking at the bushings. Can't exactly tell if they are it, but from what I've read elsewhere it didn't mention much about squeaks when turning, just up and down type stuff.
