I can't believe how many people ride around dropped on stock shocks.........it amazes me. Stock shocks are meant to please the little 80 year old ladies that usually drive accords. They aren't meant to be dropped two inches. I know shocks are expensive, but it really makes for a complete setup when you match your springs with a performance shock. Just my opinion 
I agree, especially for the older accords where your shocks probably have 75K+ on them. On a newer Accord though I can see where you would keep the stocks shocks for a few years, but I would upgrade if you can.
