It's one glaring flaw in his game that's going to be the end of him; he's does have many submission victories that are wrestling based (i.e. strength) but none of them were considered top level competition. Hughes beat and/or submitted far more challenging opponents like Verissimo, Trigg, and Newton and even then Penn still tooled him.
