Going from a 2002 Maxima to a 2008+ SI or Mazda3S...MPG?
Hey guys I was hoping to find out what kind of MPG's you guys are getting in your cars. Within the next year I'm strongly considering picking up an SI sedan or perhaps a Mazda3. But honestly I'm leaning against the Mazda3 because they do not get very good mileage. The Civic SI seems to get better mileage from all the reports I've read. I'm also considering a few higher end cars like used BMW 328i or perhaps a newer G35 but there are problems like more expensive maintenance with those cars that is not attractive since we'll probably be having kids in the next few years. As a result I'm starting to lean more towards something like a Mazda3 hatch or an SI Sedan that will have some room and be fun as hell to drive while also being reliable and taking an occassional track beating.
What kind of MPG do you get? what is your city/highway split and I assume everyone is running premium in these cars?
