that what they usually do but if no one forfeits then the tell the last checkin that he's fucked. I can see how if he was the last check-in he would say "i need to be on the flight my wife is giving birth, my mom is dying and i need to feed my dog" so probably the pilot accepted to take him on in teh jumper seat thinking it would be ok. but then when something happens to the flight attendant he got bump to the toilets...

SO i guess that means that airlines shouldn't try to accomodate people if the flight is full. not pity them and not act out of compassion just say no next time so they dont get shit like this.
