I would advise against this. An engine is made up of many different types and grades of metal, all that were designed to work in conjunction with one another. When the manufacture built the motor they tailored their design spec around the fact that the engine would be run at operating temperature. We all know that when you heat metal it expands, right? Running the motor at 6grand cold is going to cause certain things to expand faster than others. Also, your oil will not be as viscous and may fail to lubricate certain parts of the motor that would normally be okay under operating temps.

I’ll post some pics tomorrow of some pistons that failed due to a cold seizure and let you see what can happen
