OK, i am going to try to answer a few questions here.
1. I hit 140 in my gsr nearly nightly, i live on a long straight and flat road and it is fun, plus there are never any cops at shift change (3. am around here), i have buried the needle (150) many times, you can see my mods below.
2. The stock integra GSR's top speed is drag limited at 142(meaning if your engine were more powerful, then your gearing could take you faster).
3. The 97 and newer gs-r's are limited (electronically) at 142, mines a 95, they are not limited.
4. Brakes at 120 are a bad idea, when i come down from 150, i let the wind and 4th gear drag me down to 100 and then feather the brake pedal lightly down to around 70 before really braking, GSR brakes suck.
5. If you guys really don't believe me then i can probobaly post pics, but there is a big time difference between getting to 140 and getting to 150. But i routinely hit 130 pretty easy when i street race.
I think it would be sweet if you filmed it instead of taking pics of the speedo. Just a suggestion. Let me know if you ever do film it I'd love to watch it just to see that my car could get that since I have a gsr as well....and I don't have the balls to go 140+ right now.
