i chose HP just cuz thats what I have and it's great.

I have the AMD Turion 64x2 processor with 2 gigs of RAM... it is plenty fast but if I got bored, I would upgrade to 3 gigs. Otherwise, its been more than a year and the computer has been perfect for us.
