My girlfriend and I were out walking her dog. A block or so away we saw about 5 or 6 thugs(They were all wearing red) walking down the middle of the street. We cross the street to start heading back and one of them asks if we had a cigarette. We reply no, sorry. We start walking on the otherside of the street back to our place. All of a sudden he is next to us and is asking us where we live, we just said a few blocks away. He gets in my face and acts like he is about to hit me then laughs when I flinch, then he hits me right below my left eye. As he starts coming towards me again, my girlfriend trys to get between us so I get her out of the way as he throws me to the ground and starts kicking me in the side and back.
I have a few foot prints on the back of the shirt.
Since there were a few people outside working in their yard(It was like 6 pm) they saw it happen and called the cops.

I'm not one for fighting, especially against a gang member who had a bunch of his buddies right there.
