i honestly think they have no concept of an energy bill. i made the deal on my apartment that i dont pay any utilities ... but that doesnt mean if the utlilities on the building skyrocket i wont get charged more. they just have no clue, they will walk out to the kitchen grab something, turn every light on on the way there and walk back without turning a single light off.

its even worse when im in the living room watching tv, they walk through turning all the lights on and then walk back and dont turn them off, i'll get up and turn them back off ... 4-5 times a night.
