does the legend light have a dome light, and then seperate map lights?? or is it just map lights??

In my car I added the 97 style first, then replaced it with a 99 CL homelink system. The wirring for the stock dome light runs up the passenger side a-pillar... just be sure not to tap into the parking light wire for the vanity mirror light. The dome light trigger is a NEGATIVE... so the dome light is constantly supplied with a positive feed, when you open a door, it grounds the light... or when you flip the switch on the light, it also grounds it.

In my case, the 97 style light is just 2 map lights... but I also wanted them to come on when you open the door, but still have them operate independently, like they normally do. So I had to run a seperate wire, and diode isolate the 2 lights... making them operate together when a door is opened, but still be independent when a "map light" button is pressed
