Gaudy accessories add weight, hinder aerodynamics, and really can't match PERFECTLY with the car's color (unless you paint the whole thing). I say show me a sleeper. I have much more respect for someone in a car that looks completely stock, then blows you out of the water. That five grand you have in gargantuan spoilers, ground effects, colored wiper arms, illuminated washer jets, indiglow instruments, and whatever else can be used to make the engine into a brilliant performer, and no one will know but you. Not to mention, I really don't care to add to the attraction to theives by making my car scream "hey, look at me!!"

Just my $.02.
I feel the same as you do. I didn't buy my car so that I could totally change it. I bought it cause I liked the way it looked and I will like the way it looks in a few years. The only major mod i've done to my car as far as looks are aftermarket wheels. I have a OEM Body kit and shocks and springs. Thats only mods I have done/care to do with my car. I'm the type of guy that likes stock cars as well because I just like a clean look. I'm not feeling the altezza's, big wings, big body kits (black widow), and so on.
