As a general rule around my house, daddy makes more money and can support us if I am not working..so, since my job is technically expendable, I am the one who takes days off to cover down on vacations, holidays and teacher work days. It is too expensive for daycare, even for a few days, to be worth it.
It is not the parent's fault that it seems like schools use any excuse to let the little ankle biters run around the streets in wild herds.
