I dont understand why my Vtec is still not working the solenoid is good but i dont know about the poressure switch. It shows continuety but i just think that the motor i bought from Hmotorsonline has low oil pressure. Im gonna put a gaudge on iut tonight and get some reradings. I have a JDM motor any other suggestions??
You are going to have to check the continuity from the ECU to the VTEC pressure switch and VTEC solenoid.
VTEC uses the following sensors:
ECT - engine cannot be cold
RPM
VSS - Vehicle speed sensor
MAP - pressure (engine load)
Make sure the car is warm before u try VTEC.
Do you have another VTEC pressure switch avail to swap in and try?
I highly doubt your motor has low oil pressure.
