If its all your door locks doing this and not just one. I would blame the door lock control unit thy call it a multiplex. I have had a signal door lock actuator fail and make noise but its more of a buzz for about 5-10 seconds and the chances of all your door lock actuators failing at the same time is uncommon.

When you hit any of the lock or unlock buttons this sends a signal to the multiplex. The multiplex then sends power to all the door lock actuators for about 5 to 10 seconds.
