Well heres an update. I took my car to my local honda automotive specialist shop and they tested to see if it was the cat or 02 sensors. They told me it was the cat converter and i needed to get a new one. The quoted me $630 bucks! $536 for the part and $78 for the labor. I told him I would look for a cat myself. This was on Tuesday. Then yesterday, I was driving to work and suddenly the engine light just cut off. So my question is:
1. If the engine light cut off by itself without me doing anything, wouldnt that mean its an o2 sensor thats bad instead of the actual converter?
