B&M, Skunk, and Solo all make good shifters. The only adjustabe shifter I'm aware of is the one made by Pace Setter, which has an adjustable pivot point. In general, Pace Setter products are crap. There are other shifters that have the ability to adjust the position of the upper part of the shifter, but the pivot point remains the same. Short shifters only tear up trannies and shorten their lifespan when the driver doesn't know how to shift properly, or when they engage the clutch before making a complete shift. Short shifters in Civics and Integras are physically the same length as an OEM shifter, except that the pivot point is moved up the length of the shifter, thus shortening the effective throw. Most of the time when people complain about a bad feel from a short shifter, the OEM rubber bushings are the culprit. In 99% of cases, if these are replaced with good quality urethane hushings, shifter feel improves dramatically.
