NCAA’s March Madness officially kicks off tomorrow, March 20, and SIG is taking part in the fun!
SIG’s March Madness Sweepstakes is giving away approximately $20,000 in taxable prize money during this year’s tournament.
All full-time, permanent employees (as of March 19, 2008) have been randomly assigned the names of five participating teams and one digit. When the championship game rolls around, those employees who have the winning team name and the correct last digit of the winning team’s score will win $2,000 (less applicable taxes).
For example, if Villanova wins the tournament 98–77, and you have Villanova and the number 8 – you win!
Sixty-four teams will be competing in the NCAA Tournament but there will only be one team standing on April 7 in San Antonio. Good luck to all!
Basically they chose your teams randomly for you and assigned you a number. If you got the right team and number at the end of the tournament then you wins monies....
This is where i got the shaft...i looked at the bracket...and this is what i have
Boise State
Loiusville
Clemson
Austin Peay
Pittsburgh
and the digit i have is "6"
