About a month ago I joined a four-person bowling league on Wednesdays with my friend, and two other people that he knew. One of the people in this league is a woman named Jackie and we've been hitting it off pretty well. I thought that sue was cute and asked her for her number, was denied, so I had to settle for exchanging business cards. To me, it was an in so I didn't give a shit. The next day I get a phone call at work, and it's Jackie informing me that my e-mail address wasn't on my business card. On a side note, I should point out that I have been working at my company for close to a year, and did not know my e-mail address was missing from my business card. So she asks for my e-mail address, I give it to her, and we chat a little bit throughout the week. At this point I am feeling her as a cool new friend, because she is a music head and likes to cook. And I like to eat.
So we don't see each other outside of the wednesday night bowling league, but we facebook'd each other and I finally managed to wrangle her phone number from her last Wednesday. As you all know from my emo threads, I tend to post random hip hop lyrics.

It's a weird thing I do, but I have come to accept it as a part of life. After I post the Mos Def lyrics, I get this message from her left on my wall:
I responded with
To which her response was...
then we took it to PM....
But this surprised me, especially after the last chick who had a shit fit over me posting 50 Cent lyrics. Although its pretty hot getting to know someone through music.
On Friday, she invites me out with her and her friends to do the same bar crawl that I did last weekend. Figured what the hell, it would be a good opportunity to hang out with her, meet her friends, and drink during the middle of the day. We were flirting with each other and just having a good time today. I saw her apartment (not for teh s3x0rs), saw her friends' apartment, and just got an overall better feel for her. She was a little drunk when I walked her back to her building, so didn't try to get the invite back in.
So yeah, that's where it is at this point. Gonna keep doing what I am doing, let the situation play out, and see what happens. Plus I have a (small) pipeline. Just in case :rick:
