When it first turns on the resolution is 800x600 @60Hz but when it hits the windows load screen right before it blanks out the resolution kicks up to like 1028x480 (cant remember if that's the exact number) @70Hz then i lose picture... I'll try a different monitor just in case that is the problem but my suspicion lies with the OS. I'll have the geek squad guys at best buy take a look at it. As for the model of tv its a Proscan 19la25q I've used this tv on different occasions running at different resolutions and it has never had a problem displaying any high resolution or even the lowest resolution pictures
