from the looks of it i don't see why you can't get it from the outside
do you own a ripsaw?
if you do just cut it out

measure top middle and bottom of the window (too see how square it is)
take about a inch off of your measurements
order a box frame window (just a window with the fins cut off)

Buy some silcone chaulking,cement patch, screws
some shims and a drill
