More or less I'm trying to get away from the 70 something HP that it is now and get it close to 200 (which is why I was also thinking of that zc engine however I'm still trying to find reliable source to tell me if it's vtec equipped or not) I figure with a crx that shouldn't be bad.
i have a mini me setup currently, and ive got a few add ons- dc 4-1 headers, and a lightened flywheel and gripforce clutch....
so, when i was repairing my car over nov and dec, i was asking various questions and got some flat responces that i thought at the time were rude...
you say you want to get away from 70hp and get near 200hp. ok with that goal in mind let me tell you (from personal experience), it seems you dont have an EX already and you will have to do a bit of work to get your desired mini swap going on.... BUT i would advise you (now that ive got mine going well for a bit) that if you want 200hp you will never come close to that unless you plan on eventually adding a turbo, but better than that (since you are at this stage) you should upGrade to any of the Dual overhead cam honda engines out there. THE B SERIES!!!
since you got a crx, you might just go with a non Vtech B series from an integra or a b16 from a civic SI, the b16 from what ive seen lately should give you about 160hp initially! twice as much as 70hp you got now!
if you spend all this money on trying to make a mini me you arent goin to get much more than 100ish im pretty sure, and you are eventually goin to realize that the power you want is way more reliably and affordably had with a B series engine.
so please consider this in your search for more hp. especially if you want 200 hp... and for that consider the Civic Type-R B16B engine at 190 hp or the integra type-r b18c(r)
look online for import engine retailers!! they have them with trannys and ecu's all in one package!!
here's an example: (not that i know anything about this retailer)
