To the people that want to carry a set amount of cash, is it really that hard for you guys just to say to yourself, "I need to save, I shouldn't spend right now..." ?

I guess we all just have a different way of organizing our finances I have a tendency to walk around with the product I want to buy (game, clothes, etc...) for minutes before actually going to the counter to pay for it or returning it to the shelf. Those minutes I walk around I start to weigh out the pros and cons of buying a want rather than a need I once walked around Target contemplating buying a TV for 1hr before leaving because I didn't need to buy it God knows how many times I should have bought another Elite (or not return the 2 I bought already )
