it's the good 'ol EGR valve. there are 2 problems with it...

1. the valve opens up at highway speeds. if it jams on you, it will cause your engine to die at non highway speeds.

2. shoot ... i can't really remember right now, it's been a while. i could swear there was a recall on it some time ago.
