I haven't watched your movie yet, but to me it sounds like you are getting lag from your internet connection. Are your ports open on your router? You should have ports 88 and 3074 open for XBL.

I had the same thing happen when I was trying to play H3 from various hotel rooms. I never get lag on my home connection.

edit: Run the network tests through the dashboard. Does it give you any issues?
