you gotta remmeber, youre new here, theres no need to be a dick, because you obviously have a lot to bring in terms of information.
I wasn't referring to you - and anyways, that comment was tongue in cheek, if you notice (I have run my sentra out of gas - AAA plus is a wonderful thing - but never the Honda).
And I have driven my civic a few times well below 2-3 gallons left (probably about 1 gallon a couple times), and never had the slightest problems. It has 103K on it and has always run perfectly.
Anyway, don't assume just because I am new here I am new to Hondas - they heve run (well) in my family for 15 years. I was a member at Purehonda for a while. before it went to sh!t.
One thing to try if you have troube starting and know you have gas left - I had trouble starting an old Sentra once a long time ago, I had been idling for several minutes before shutting it off and when I went to start it, it wouldn't fire. On a whim, I jumped on the rear bumper - and it started right up. My best guess was that the gas intake float had stuck and I knocked it loose by jumping on the bumper.
