It's always a good idea to change the timing belt (along w/ water pump at the same time) when you buy a used Honda/Acura, unless you know for a fact that it's been replaced within 90,000 miles.

If it's a Honda of any sort, just assume it's an interference engine - meaning broken timing belt does major damage.
