I would suggest the GR2s if you are on a tight budget. They are a great strut for the money. BUT, I would not mate them to a 3" drop. They are only warrantied to 1.5". I would go 2" max.

I really like my adjustable KYB-AGX but they are only on a 1.5" Eibach prokit drop. You can find AGXs on ebay for less than $300.

BTW- Struts are very important. If you ride in a car with a 3" drop on OEM quality struts be sure to wear a helmet cause your head will be hitting the roof with every crack in the road!
