And I would excuse the graphics if it looked fun..but from what I've seen and read (repetitive combat, driving around in circles in a crappy overworld with horrible collision detection and absolutely no interaction with anything there...which makes up about 40% of the game)...the gameplay is pretty crappy, too.
where did you read that? the one person who gave it a 4.0?
yes the game isn't for everyone, it's more for style and I appreciate it more. I've never played a game for graphics, graphics don't keep you coming back for more, it's just an aesthetic you barely notice while playing and I could care less. I am more interested in gameplay and this game makes me want to play and keeps me coming back. I really enjoy the retro aspects. Don't really see how it is pixelated... anyways for the last time, the Wii isn't known for its fucking graphic capabilities
Combat gets harder as you go on and if you know what you're doing you can use different techniques and shit, so I don't see how its repetitive. Interaction with stuff, who the fuck cares that shit is pointless. Collision detection? when you hit a wall on your bike or hit/side swipe a car? That shit is fucking annoying if you fall off every single time you hit something. The overworld is not the point of the game... yes it gets a little buggy at times, but it's not like there is any action or anything exciting going on.
and you don't flick your wrist, you press A to swing. Angle the wii remote low to swing/block low, or angle it high to swing/block high.
