The way i see it you cant keep the relationship going while shes away, but i wouldnt burn any bridges while shes gone. Thats because the culture in India is very different and being immersed in that culture may make her realize how much better she had it with you. They are an uncomprimisingly competitive people and do not share some of the common nice'ities that even us vulgar americans posess. She may spend a year in india and realize how much she really likes being with you.
