Welding is great. i don't know what the video would be like, but it's not hard. You just need a steady hand, or in my case a good prop, and some practice. You have to lay it down smooth and you have to watch for penetration (yes I said it). That first one should be alright unless you are welding up frame rails.

flux core wire is nice but you get lots and lots of splatter
