new stuffs:
this is the first one i've run across since i've been keeping an eye out (for a few years) that was a true left handed model so i sold my current carry knife to pay for this one.
Next up, I've been wanting a swiss army knife for a while and after much deliberation I found one that had the tools that would suit my needs. I can't necessarily say I'll use all of them but I know for sure each one could possibly be used at some point or another.
Also, I've been looking into getting a new multi-tool since the one I had before was pure bollocks when it came to using the pliers. The way it folded out left hardly any surface area for your hands when squeezing down. The design of the Gerber actually pushes the pliers out of the handle instead of swinging it around so you have 100% positive surface area to grip down. I'm not totally decided on whether I'm going to continue to carry this or not but since I've been carrying it for a few weeks I have used it quite a bit so it will probably stay.
and last but certainly not least, a light. I've been wanting to get a good light that was bright yet compact and here it is. I bought a G3 from cabela's but it was too big to carry. So naturally I found a G2 body online and stuck the lamp from the g3 into the g2 so that I can have an excuse to upgrade the G3 lamp to a cree LED. anyway...
Oh yeah. And I sold my G34 and have a G19 on the way. It should be much easier to carry and much less of a hassle to conceal. Pics of the G19 when it comes in. :bigok:
And I sold my 1911. Initially I sold it to pick up a couple AK kits to build a rifle and pistol kit but I told the wife I sold it try to pay off my truck sooner and she called my bluff and told me to make sure I buy a money order for my truck payment. That'll happen soon, just not as soon as I'd hoped.
