Overview – The Gallery Event, Sunday, January 13, 2008

The Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA) is taking a bold approach to enhancing the NAIAS by hosting a unique and exclusive 250-person reception called The Gallery Event on Sunday, January 13. NAIAS is bringing the marketplace to the high-end automobile manufacturers by connecting celebrities, corporate leaders, prominent athletes and other privileged guests with the exclusive brands found in the Luxury Row exhibit area including Bentley Motors, Maserati, Ferrari, Maybach, Rolls Royce, Lamborghini and Bugatti.

This is an invitation-only event (non-transferable) designed to give exclusive access to the auto show’s premier brands with food, entertainment and intellectual engagement provided by celebrity-level chefs, entertainers and artists. Tickets cannot be purchased, adding to the exclusivity and allure of the event.

Event Elements:


1. ** Intimate VIP gathering for wealthy and celebrity-level guests from the United States and abroad. 60% attendees are national/international guests; 40% attendees are from Michigan/Midwest.


2. ** American Express extended this invitation to their Centurion card holders (annual spend ≥ $200K) and sold out within a day.


3. ** Portfolio Magazine, a leading Conde Nast international publication, is the media partner.



1. ** Private cocktail reception and dinner gathering beginning at 6:30 p.m. at MGM Grand prepared and hosted by celebrity chef; top-name entertainment will perform in an intimate setting. Guests will then be transported to The Gallery Event at Cobo Hall.
