just replaced the rear wheel bearing on a 98 Accord with disks on the back. Had a bear of a time getting the pads to come off the disk because the disk has a ridge of rusty metal around the edge and the pads didn't want to slide over it. Problem is that now I can't get them back on for the same reason and try as I might I can't compress the hydraulic cylinder back into the caliper. Is there some kind of locking mechanism perhaps in the parking brake?
