heat could be teh cable problem. look infront of the firewall (right behind the motor) u'll see a coolant hose going in the firewall w/ a little lever on it and a cable going to the lever, when u turn the temperature knob to heat position, the cable pulls the lever and opens up the valve and that lets the hot coolant/water go in to ur heater core.

if it doesnt move when u turn the temp knob, then u have a broken/disconnected cable.

It has to be a coolant hose going from the back of the motor where teh coolant is leeking.
