I'd say its fine. All depends on a number of different things. ie: the most optimal highway speed is ~60mph, after that you fuel economy decreases. And, you will hardly ever get the same fuel economy as a manual. Just keep up with the scheduled maintenance, make sure everything is to spec. For example, even such things as tire pressure will effect your FE.
