"guy's" code of conduct question...
girl i know who still works at club is recently single, flirts alot & asked me to dinner.....here's the scenerio:
when i first started working at the club, she started a week or 2 after me. she worked the register & i checked IDs & did wristbands for the over 21s. there was mild flirting back then. we never hooked up cause i was seeing somebody else. i then moved off the register & moved to the re-entry door & then to roof security.
shortly after i moved to roof security, a guy who was a semi-regular started working as a porter/barback & they started dating. nice guy...we chatted when he came up to clean up over the course of the evenings. she & i continued to talk & would hang out on off nites.
well this weekend, she informs me that they broke up & asked me for my number, so i gave it to her. there has been alot of cell-text flirting & she asked me when we were gonna go out......
1) the guy is an "aquaintence" & not really a friend per say....not somebody i'd really hang out with if i hadn't known him from being a coworker
2) he broke up with her cause he's been scheming on some other girl
3) she's pursued me
sooooooo, do i really owe him the "guy's code" of not going out with her at all or even asking "permission" first?
