Someone already mentioned the kit car factor. A Shelby Cobra has a one-piece aluminum body. Clearly, this one's fiberglass. A real Shelby does not have lug nuts on the wheels.

Lastly, an owner of a real Shelby Cobra would not let some inexperienced idiot behind the wheel no matter what sex they are.

This guy was trying to get some poon in the first place by letting her drive it. I doubt it was worth it if he got it or not. Lesson learned?
