My opinion would be to pick the 04-05 TL. The reason being is that the TL is an absolute great car. Not that the Infiniti isn't but personally the design of the Infiniti FX isn't appealing to me. The only thing that I like about the Infiniti is the interior and the exhaust note. The TL, on the contrary, is designed amazingly inside and out, the performance is great, the standard equipment on the TL exceeds my expectations, and overall it is a great built, reliable car with the luxury when needed and the sportiness also. Personally, you can't beat it. Good luck with your choice.
