I'd both be pissed and feel real sorry if I started up my car and hear a cat shrieking in fear, like I hear happens sometimes.
I heard about something like that happening where there were like 5 kittens in some guy's engine bay and he didn't know about it and when he started up his truck, the engine kind of skipped and make weird noises. Then as he was driving, he smelled something funny and thought he saw smoke so he pulled over and popped his hood and there was kitty chunks everywhere.

Not sure how that would work though. If a cat got caught in the belt, wouldn't the car not start?
