um, there's a couple questions in that last big sentence... right?

Does your used eBay throttle body come with the MAP sensor? If not, you still have a bad MAP sensor.

You can probably do this without disconnecting the battery. But if you DO disconnect the battery, you'll need the stereo's security code.

You can reset the ECU by pulling fuse #13 in the dashboard fusebox next to the RIGHT front door hinges. If you DON'T reset the ECU, the warning lamp will keep coming on for several driving cycles before it clears itself.
