Default engine mount help

I have a '92 Integra and the mounting pad for the engine mount is broken/bad. My mechanic says that it's a plate on the front of the engine (it's on the driver's side of the car....at the front of the engine when it's in the car) and as often happens when an engine from a wrecked car is re-used that plate breaks off and then doesn't accept a repair.

(Sorry if this doesn't quite make sense.) It is supposed to have one end of the engine mount bolted into it and the mechanic says it would not hold a bolt. When it is welded back up and they try to redrill it for a new bolt hole, it just busts back off....if I understand him correctly.

He thinks there was once, or still is a company that made/makes a "workaround" bracket that could replace this plate. The company made these brakets just for this type of problem and they were manufactured for use on nearly all Honda engines.

It sounds like something HASPORT would make, before they went exclusively to transplant kits.

If I can't find this bracket, my options are: new/used engine block, newer engine, or trading the car. I would really like to locate this bracket and/or the company that makes it.
