Brakes & wheel bearings are easy to check. Lift the front & put on jackstands (don't just use the tire-changing jack). Put it in Neutral & spin one wheel at a time to see which one grinds. Then take that wheel off & see whether you can tell if the noise comes from the brake or wheel bearing. If you can't tell, you may have to remove the brake pads to see if the noise is still there.
